The images I’ve chosen for American Landscapes are in part the culmination of many road trips around Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California from the past several years. It is also an exploration of the relationship I see between a dying America, the romantic notion of the open road, and the illusion of the American dream. This is the first time I’ve printed a zine in color, and I am very excited about it! It is in the same mini landscape size as my past zines. It includes 36 pages and 34 images all shot on film in a variety of 35mm, medium and large formats. Hope you enjoy it!
